Las Vegas is one of the most soughed after and the most populous city of United States which is known as gambling, shopping, fine dinning and entertainment paradise.
The Las Vegas Natural History Museum was formed due to the realization of need of a museum for the community and to provide information about the global life forms. In 1989, the Las Vegas Natural History Museum was located in the center of a cultural corridor. It was opened in 1991, with a varied collection of wildlife and prehistoric
exhibits. Later on the museum housed a multimillion dollar world class collection of interactive and tried to create an exciting and interactive learning experience.
It houses around half a dozen of unique exhibits right from the African savannah to desert life and Nevada’s prehistoric past. It also features a Marine Life Gallery and it will take you to the depth of the ocean.
The aquariums are filled with a range of marine creatures which are suspended from the ceiling and walls. It also features 3,000 gallon live shark tank which housed bamboo sharks, Port Jackson sharks and California round stingrays.
The animal gallery showcases world class taxidermy specimens which are brought from North America, South America, and Africa and from many other countries by exploring family groups like bears, sheep, deer, dogs etc. |
